We collect as little as we can, use it only to look after your booking, and never sell it to anybody.

Who we are

What we collect
Only what we need in order to hold your table and look after you when you arrive.
- Your name, telephone number and email address when you book or send an enquiry
- The date, time and size of your booking
- Any dietary requirements or allergies you choose to tell us about
- Anything else you write in a message to us
Why we hold it
To confirm and manage your reservation, to contact you if something changes, and to make sure the kitchen knows about allergies before service starts. Information about allergies is treated as health information and is shared only with the staff who need it in order to cook and serve your meal safely.
If a booking is made by telephone we may write the same details down in the reservations book. It is kept behind the bar and is not shared with anyone outside the restaurant.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for up to twelve months so we can look back at a reservation if there is a query, and then deleted. Emails you send us are kept for as long as we need them to answer you, and are cleared out periodically.
Who we share it with
Nobody, unless we are legally required to. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not pass them to marketing companies. If we later use a booking system or an email provider to manage reservations, that company will process the information on our behalf and only on our instructions.
This website
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you. If we add analytics in future to understand which pages are useful, we will say so here first.
The booking form on the contact page opens your own email application with the details filled in. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press send in your email app.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ring the restaurant or email us and we will deal with it within a month, usually far sooner.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
